The word ‘haveli’ is enough to get us excited about this place. Set up in a restored haveli by Kuldeep Kaur, Serendipity is a travel-inspired textile store full of the most gorgeous clothes, jewellery, linen, furniture and vintage picks. Bright colours, open spaces and products steeped in rich culture, this sure is a tastefully done place. The store now also has a stunning rooftop café that serves delicious, comforting cafe food.

The Wishing Chair

Hello from our Shahpurjat, Delhi store. #nomondayblues

This store is what I’d call my happy place. Fairy lights, cutesy buntings, décor pieces and garden accessories in pretty pastels, serveware that can only make you think of a tea party in a whimsical garden, stationery, and books that make for pleasant reads, The Wishing Chair is the coziest store ever! Once you’re done imagining every product in your house and well, done shopped some, sit back for some comfort food, light beverages and amazing desserts at their little café at the back of the store, The Mad Teapot.

Fabindia Experience Centre

Fabindia gave its Vasant Kunj flagship store, an exciting makeover a while back. Yeap, it turned from a regular store into an amazing experience centre. Think five stories of shopping and kicking back, to take you through the entire day. The ground floor, apart from the kid’s section, has a wellness centre loaded with all things healthy from Organic India. The centre also has a section with massage chairs (after all that you can do here, well, of course!) Move up to the women and men’s sections where they’ve also added an alteration service. Their interiors section at this store also has an expert for all the advice you need. The next floor is where you’ll find us! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Fab Café has a spread that varies from the good ol’ regional dishes to a healthy menu of gluten and dairy free options. There’s also a kid’s play area on the same floor where they can keep themselves busy and you take a break and dig into the goodness that this store is.

Cafe Dori

When slick products meet an even more slick space, you know you’re dealing with Nappa Dori. Nobody needs an introduction to the brand’s leather products. Neat, functional, stylish and well, timeless, Nappa Dori’s range of stationery, accessories, trunks and bags should be on your shopping bucket list. Couple these with their new space in Dhan Mill and you’ve got a winner of a store. Café Dori’s minimal, clean, part loft-part workhouse vibe sits perfectly with their products. Shop their range, get your products personalized, spend some time reading books from their library, or just have some good conversation with friends at their Pan-European café, there’s enough to spend a wonderful afternoon here. Café Dori also has a space for private events.

Basanti-Kapda Aur Coffee

This store is the place to go if elegance with a minimalism is your taste. Think silk lehengas and anarakalis, stylish and fusionwear that don’t cross the line to the questionable fashion. Top your festive and wedding shopping with a steaming cup of coffee at their little café alongside.

Hold your breath for this one – a retail space that houses accessories, jewellery and furniture from some very cool brands, a coworking space for creative minds to connect and co-create, a space to hold events and to top it up, a superb café with all things clean and green on its menu; we’ve given given you reason enough to make a trip here.

If I were to ever get locked up in a store, Good Earth is where I’d like to be. Starting right from the façade, this store spells art. Inspired by nature and history, every product here – from home décor and furnishings to apparel and accessories - tells a story and defines a culture. And if two massive floors of art weren’t enough, Good Earth has a third for art on a plate with its café, Latitude 28. Artisanal teas and coffees and a delectable spread of comforting food, its just the place you want to head after a fulfilling shopping spree. Don’t miss their rose petal infused teas and their Almond Cake with Lemon Curd.
