Bollywood inspired looks to get your Holi preps started!

Bollywood inspired looks to get your Holi preps started!

Lets just presume Holi is your favourite festival, or if not so yet, you are planning to make it, from this year onwards. By looking like a Bollywood diva and swaying to Anu Malik’s  ‘Let’s Play Holi’ , we bet this year will be your best one yet. So keeping in mind all things white, we’ve created a buffet of inspirations for you all. Take your pick!

1. Alia Bhatt

Take notes from Alia Bhatt on how to carry an ivory toned chikankari anarkali. Styled by Ami Patel, our favourite Aloo decided to wear this Manish Malhotra piece at the recent teaser launch of the much awaited Kalank. Needless to say we couldn’t take our eyes of her. We’re sure you can easily replicate this look in a matter of minutes. Also, say hello to that beautiful neckline!

2. Kriti Sanon

If you like experimenting, Kriti Sanon can be your inspiration, this Holi. Styled by Sukriti Grover, this dhoti pant set with matching top is perfect for the upcoming festivities. Easy, chic and comfortable, you can style it up with sneakers of maybe kolhapuris, just like the diva herself!

3. Janhvi Kapoor

For all those millenials that are simply bored of the age old lehengas, try something like Janhvi Kapoor. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, this look is all heart and nothing less! That mess, ruffled sleeved crop top, paired with that skirt is all that you need, to make a Kapoor style entry at this year’s Holi bash.

Another millennial on our list, Sara Ali Khan giving us some Pataudi vibes, and a sure shot note on how to look like royalty! Styled by Tanya Ghavri, this look is perfect for the bash where you need to look sanskari, for all the family members you are bound to run into. This is ofcourse before the actual party begins, if you know what we mean!

5. Shilpa Shetty

A little colourful, yet very traditional, we had to put this look as an inspiration for Holi. Styled by Sanjana Batra, this look screams colour and fun, and who better than Shilpa Shetty to carry it off!
