5 Kolkata Designers who are ruling the Fashion Game.

The diverse and colourful Kolkata has always prided itself in its cultural, textile and architectural heritage. Clothing has played an integral part in the city, as the traditional handloom and textiles have been revived, contemporised and incorporated into the millennial clothing. From fabrics like taant, kantha stitch and the popular red and white saree, designers have come a long way in creating new concepts and pushing the boundaries. Today we list down 5 designers, who are ruling the Fashion Game in Kolkata.

1) Sneha Arora

Combining feminine pieces, with a hint of androgyny, Sneha Arora’s collection is breath-taking. A Nift alumnus, Sneha creates pieces, through storytelling and design. Her edgy and minimalist silhouettes are designed for the modern "free spirited” woman. Masculine Tailoring combined with soft pastels and light flowy fabrics are an absolute winner. 2) Rimi Nayak
