Alia Bhatt approved summer dresses you need in your wardrobe

Just like us, we are sure, you too have been dreaming about summers, and all the things you can wear. Its officially new season, and your summer body is asking you to get your hands on some summer essentials. Dresses, are one such thing! You cannot be a girl and not like dresses in summers. They are light, airy and give your legs the much needed movement that they crave.

And if you keep up with all things B town flaunts, you would be aware of Alia Bhatt’s love for dresses. Long, short, mini or maxi, she is one celebrity who hasn’t shied away from wearing this runway-approved silhouette, event after event. Under the tutelage of her stylist Ami Patel, she has given us way too many looks that make it to our favourites list. Here we have a few!

1. Maxi Dresses

The outfit we would like to steal on a regular day at work! Wearing a breezy maxi, paired with our all time favourite denim jacket, Alia completed the look with huge sunglasses, a Chanel tote bag and a top bun. Also, looks like, she too needed an early morning coffee run. We feel ya girl!

2. Shift Dress

An oversized shift dress is made for the humid weather. No bodycon or mini can replace its comfort. To dress it up, Alia added a pair of strappy heels, but you can surely swap them for flats or even sneakers.

3. Midi Skirt

What is summer without a splash of bright florals?! And when it is a knee length, midi skirt, hail the sanskaari aunties who won’t be giving you a side eye today. With open hair and no accessories, this dress is perfect for office or even a day out with friends.

4. Formal Dress

This powder blue number is one that deserves your utmost attention. With something like this, you can easily slip in an event after a long day at work. Paired with heels in the same tone, this dress screams femininity and power.

5. Balloon Sleeves

Okay a mini skirt with balloon sleeves is the latest trend you need to get your hands on. While it may not be as versatile as an LBD, but it will sure fit the bill when you’re getting ready for that very important first date. Just like Alia, you can pair it with fun coloured heels that complement the colours in your dress or you can even go neutral, whatever you prefer.
