I am sure every petite girl has heard this sentence at least once in their lifetime "How lucky! You can eat whatever you want to" or "Hold on tight, or else you might get blown away in the storm!". Passing snide comments and remarks on Skinny Shaming is utterly disgusting as it causes havoc in the lives of a woman. It can cause serious mental and physical issues and break a person’s self esteem into pieces. People should stop the trolling right away to make the world a kinder place.
3) Fit Shaming
Fit Shaming is a form of bullying in which a person’s strong/muscular/broad/fit/athletic body type is shamed upon. The types of trolling never seem to end, and fit shaming is just another one of them. From celebrities like Bani-J, Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu to regular folks, these trollers attack a person’s image by comparing them with the physique of a "man", "bouncer", "sumo wrestler" and much more. This horrific bullying should be voiced out and stopped right away!
4) Mom Body/Pregnancy/Maternity Trolling
Actress Sameera Reddy was recently attacked by online trolls for her underwater photoshoot in a bikini for flaunting her baby bump. These trollers attack moms for flaunting their baby bumps and posing for pictues. From the dutchess Meghan Markle to Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, nobody has been spared from this. Recently designer and model Gabriella Demetriades has received a lot of flack from people around the globe for posting the picture of a flat tummy after delivering her first child with partner Arjun Rampal. Netizens critisized her for promoting "work-outs" during pregnancy which is impossible for a lot of mothers to achieve. Trolling a mom to be for flauting her baby bump is inhuman and should be stopped immedietly!
5) Body Hair Shaming
It is high time that we all stopped getting repulsed and freaked out by body hair. A woman’s body is her choice of how she wants to keep it. Getting shamed for not living up to the so called "industrial standard" of waxing, threading, plucking, getting lasered and so on has been socially brainwashed into our heads for years now. It is time to let go, and free ourselves from the stigma.
